Audio Not Playing Through Speakers Fix

Set Speakers as Default Output Device
Right-click speaker icon → Sound settings → Output dropdown. Select Speakers (Realtek Audio) or ROG Cetra Audio. If NVIDIA HDMI or a Bluetooth device is selected, that is why no sound plays through the laptop speakers.
Reinstall Realtek Audio Driver
Device Manager → Sound, video and game controllers → uninstall Realtek Audio. Download the latest Realtek driver from ASUS Support for ROG Zephyrus G16 GU603 and install. Restart.

Reinstall ASUS Sonic Studio 3
Uninstall Sonic Studio 3 from Programs and Features. Download a fresh copy from ASUS Support. Install after the Realtek driver is already installed. Sonic Studio 3 adds speaker enhancement and a virtual surround mode on top of the base audio driver.
Run the Windows Audio Troubleshooter
Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters → Playing Audio → Run. Windows will detect misconfigured audio services and attempt an automatic fix.
“The output had switched to NVIDIA HDMI audio after a Windows update. Switching back to Realtek in Sound settings fixed the silence on my Zephyrus G16 instantly.” — Aidil, Seremban
