Why it happens
Outdated Intel Arc graphics driver does not support the docking station resolution or refresh rate
Thunderbolt 4 dock firmware needs an update to communicate properly with the B3404 USB-C controller
Windows 11 display output is set to “PC screen only” instead of “Extend” or “Duplicate”
The dock is plugged into the USB-C data-only port, not the Thunderbolt 4 port on the left side

How to fix
Press Win + P immediately after connecting the dock to select Extend or Duplicate display mode — the default may be “PC screen only”
Plug the dock into the Thunderbolt 4 port (identified by the lightning bolt icon) on the left side of the B3404, not the USB-C data port
Download and install the Intel Arc Graphics driver from ASUS Support for ExpertBook B3 B3404. The latest version includes DisplayPort Alt Mode and Thunderbolt fixes.
Install the Thunderbolt Software from ASUS Support. When the dock is connected, it checks for dock firmware updates that improve display output compatibility.
