Windows 11
The on-screen Caps Lock popup no longer appears on the HP ProBook 445 G11. The AMD Ryzen 5 7535U laptop shows that indicator through HP Notifications software, and a missing or stopped HP component is the usual reason it disappears, while the key itself still works.

Fix 1 — Reinstall HP Notifications
Open HP Support for ProBook 445 G11 and install HP Notifications and the HP System Information driver. These provide the on-screen Caps Lock and other key-status popups. Restart after installing so the indicator reappears.
Fix 2 — Check the HP Service
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc
- Find the HP System Information or HP Notifications service
- Set it to Automatic and start it
- Test Caps Lock again

Fix 3 — Update the Keyboard and Hotkey Drivers
Install the latest keyboard and HP hotkey drivers from HP Support for ProBook 445 G11. If the Caps Lock key LED is also off, a corrupt keyboard driver is the cause, and the update restores both the LED and the on-screen indicator.
Fix 4 — Run HP Support Assistant Updates
HP Support Assistant → Updates. Install all available HP software and driver updates for the ProBook 445 G11. This keeps the notification components current so the Caps Lock indicator continues to work after Windows updates.
