Stylus Not Working Fix

The ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED H7604 uses a high-precision OLED digitiser that depends on a specific driver chain. After Windows 11 updates, the pen driver can be replaced by a generic HID driver, stripping pressure and tilt sensitivity from the stylus input.

Fix 1 — Reinstall ASUS Pen Driver
Visit the ASUS Support page for ProArt Studiobook 16 H7604. Under Drivers and Tools, find the Pen or Stylus category and download the latest ASUS Pen driver. Uninstall the current driver in Device Manager (Human Interface Devices section) before installing the new one.
Fix 2 — Update Intel Serial IO Driver
Search for Intel Serial IO in Device Manager. Update the driver using Windows Update or download from ASUS Support. This driver manages the I2C bus communication between the digitiser and the CPU.
Fix 3 — Calibrate the Digitiser
Search “Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input” in Windows Search. Run the full calibration targeting each cross-hair point. Save the profile. This corrects offset issues caused by driver reinstallation.
