Windows 11
The battery percentage on the ASUS Zenbook A14 UX3407 jumps around, dropping or rising several percent at once. This Snapdragon X laptop is very efficient, and the reading is almost always a gauge calibration drift rather than a failing battery.

Fix 1 — Calibrate the Battery
Charge the Zenbook A14 UX3407 to 100 percent and leave it plugged in for an hour. Then use it on battery down to about 5 percent, and charge fully again without interruption. This full cycle resets the gauge so the percentage tracks the real charge.
Fix 2 — Check MyASUS Battery Care
- Open MyASUS → Customization → Battery
- For calibration, set charging to Full capacity mode
- A 60 or 80 percent cap can look like the gauge sticking
- Return to your preferred care mode afterwards

Fix 3 — Update Drivers and BIOS
Open MyASUS → Live Update and install the latest chipset, battery and BIOS updates for the Zenbook A14 UX3407. These improve the battery gauge firmware and fix percentage jumps introduced by earlier firmware.
Fix 4 — Run the Battery Health Check
In MyASUS, run the battery health report. If it shows the battery as healthy, the jumping is calibration and the cycle above fixes it. If it flags a problem, contact ASUS support for the Zenbook A14 UX3407.
