Hinge Sensor Tablet Mode Stuck Fix

Restart the Sensor Services
Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and restart the Sensor Service, Sensor Monitoring Service and Sensor Data Service. This clears a stuck convertible state so the Pavilion x360 14 returns to laptop mode and re-enables the keyboard.
Reinstall the Sensor Drivers
In Device Manager → Sensors, a yellow mark on the HID sensor collection signals a driver fault. Reinstall the HID sensor and HP convertible drivers from HP Support for Pavilion x360 14, then restart.

Re-trigger the Hinge Detection
Fold the Pavilion x360 14 fully into tablet mode, then back to laptop. This makes the hinge sensor send a fresh mode signal, which often unsticks a wrongly held tablet mode and brings the keyboard back.
Update the BIOS
Run HP Support Assistant and install the latest BIOS for the Pavilion x360 14. BIOS updates correct hinge and convertible sensor reporting, which is what tells Windows whether the laptop is in tablet or laptop mode.
