Fan Always Running Loud Fix

Switch the Thermal Profile to Balanced
Open OMEN Gaming Hub → Performance Control. Change from Performance to Balanced or Eco. Performance mode keeps the Victus 16 fans high for headroom even on light tasks, so a lower profile immediately reduces idle fan noise.
Find the Process Heating the CPU
Open Task Manager, sort by CPU and watch for a process sitting high at idle. Windows Update, Defender scans and search indexing are common. End it or let it finish, and the CPU cools so the fans spin down.

Update the BIOS and Chipset Drivers
HP Support Assistant → Updates. Install the latest BIOS, chipset and Intel Dynamic Tuning drivers for the Victus 16. HP regularly tunes the fan curve in BIOS updates so the laptop runs quieter at the same temperature.
Clean the Vents and Heatsink
Power off and blow compressed air through the side and rear vents of the Victus 16. Dust trapped in the fins forces the fans to run faster. If the laptop is older, a heatsink clean and fresh thermal paste lowers temperatures and noise significantly.
